As kids take part in any sport or activity the ongoing battle is the amount of money spent when they inevitably grow out of their equipment. Like many sports aggressive skate manufacturers are taking this into account when making new products for kids knowing that replacing skates each year can become very costly. many companies are now offering skates that can be adjusted typically 2-3 sizes lengthening the time your lil shredder has with their skates.

There are a couple of skate makers out there that have been making adjustable skates for awhile, here we will go over a few of those models. USD has a skate out called the JOJO Transformer which aside from being aesthetically appealing to children, it is practically appealing to parents. The JOJO is adjustable from either 1-3 or 5-7, these are priced at $139.99. K2 offers their model, the Fatty J, which is adjustable from 2-4 and are sale priced at $69.95 while supplies last. Razor offers their Genesys kids skate for sizes 3-6 which adjusts easily, these are priced at $99.99.  All these brands make great skates and they don’t skimp on the juniors knowing they will have the skates for a long period of time and be hard on their equipment.

Aggressive skating can be a great activity for children to build skills, acquire friendships and to be active outside rather than inside in front of the television. I know that my parents would have been very pleased had I started on adjustable skates, at least now I can pass the knowledge on to the new generation of aggressive skate mothers and fathers out there trying to make their children’s dreams come true.
